NEW ORLEANS—Agnes Scott Cross Country capped off one its strongest seasons in recent memory with its most prestigious honor yet. The Scotties were named a 2019 All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Thursday afternoon for the first time in program history after earning a cumulative 3.49 GPA as a team.

The Scotties raced to a 13th-place finish despite running in the deepest field they will see in 2019 and displayed a marked improvement from a season ago.
ROME, Ga.—The Agnes Scott cross country program was voted eighth in the USA South Coaches’ Preseason Poll on Thursday morning as announced by the league office. The Scotties finished seventh at the 2018 USA South Championships in November.
