ROME, Ga.--The USA South Athletic Conference has released its 2018-2019 Academic All-Conference Team. This season found 1,441 student-athletes earning Academic All-Conference honors, including 32 from Decatur.

ROME, Ga.—Agnes Scott Cross Country saw its season come to a conclusion on Saturday morning after competing in the NCAA Division III South Regional race at Berry College. Senior Allyssa Willis (Apache Junction, Ariz.) was the top finisher for the Scotties in 178th place.
MARYVILLE, Tenn.—A string of consistent performances in the top half of the pack placed Agnes Scott Cross Country in the top half of the USA South Championship on Friday morning. The Scotties overcame cold, soggy conditions to run their best overall race of the 2018 season, coming in seventh in the conference for the second consecutive year.
DECATUR—The culmination of over two months of hard work will be realized when Agnes Scott Cross Country takes its place at the start line of the USA South Championships. The race, scheduled for 11 a.m., is the first of two postseason races in which the Scotties will take part.
ROME, Ga.—Agnes Scott Women’s Cross Country finished 23rd overall at the 2018 Berry Cross Country Invitational on Saturday morning on the expansive campus of Berry College. Senior Ellie Vergura (Atlanta, Ga.) led the way for the Scotties in 157th out of 217 registered runners.
OXFORD, Ala.—Agnes Scott Cross Country finished 15th at a stacked Jacksonville State Foothills Invitational on Saturday morning. The Scotties were led by senior Allyssa Willis (Apache Junction, Ariz.) who finished 92nd overall in the 19-team meet.
BEECH ISLAND, S.C.—Agnes Cross Country ran to a ninth-place finish in a competitive field at the Jaguar Cross Country Invitational on Saturday morning. The Scotties were the only Division III program to compete in the meet, hosted by Augusta University.
LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga.—Agnes Scott Cross Country battled their way to a fourth-place finish at the Mountaintop Invitational on Friday evening. Humidity and hills were the stories of the day, but the Scotties saw many positives come out of the season-opening race.
DECATUR—An impressive showing in the USA South Championships last fall was enough to keep the Agnes Scott Cross County program in top half of the conference power rankings. And that is where they hope to stay after being picked eighth in the 2018 USA South preseason coaches’ poll.
DECATUR, Ga.—The Agnes Scott College Athletic Department is pleased to announce the appointment of Molly Carl as its head cross country coach effective July 1. Carl becomes the second head coach of the team since the program was reinstituted as a full NCAA Division III sport in time for the 2014 season.
