Tigers Find Groove as Scotties Falter on the Road

SEWANEE, Tenn.—Agnes Scott Women's Soccer saw its losing streak stretch to three matches following a 6-0 loss the Sewanee Tigers. Sewanee piled on four goals in the second half after building a 2-0 halftime advantage while holding Agnes Scott to a single shot attempt in a dominant effort. The Scotties fall to 2-4 on the season.

The Tigers controlled momentum from beginning to end, scoring just 13 minutes into regulation. Things did not get any better for the Scotties over the final 45 minutes as Addie Roemershauser completed a hat-trick with two goals in the final 10 minutes of action to make it a 6-0 game.

Sewanee was able to smother Agnes Scott's offensive attack on the other end of the field.

Ashley Kopczyk (Elgin, Ill.) took the loss in her first collegiate start despite making eight saves in goal.

Agnes Scott will look to break out of a funk on Tuesday when they head to Birmingham Southern for an evening matchup. The Scotties begin USA South Conference play next Saturday at home against LaGrange.
