Scotties Earn Academic Award from United Soccer Coaches

KANSAS CITY, Mo.—Agnes Scott Women's Soccer was a named recipient of the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award as announced by the USCA last week. The Scotties earned the award, which is given to teams with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, for the 14th time since 2002.

Agnes Scott returned to the awards list after the program notched a streak of 12 straight appearances dating 2005 through 2016.

The program, in its second year under head coach Eric Struble, nabbed a team GPA of 3.23 and was one of seven USA South women's teams to be named to the list.

Agnes Scott is currently 3-8-1 entering its final stretch of the 2018 season while seeking its third consecutive postseason appearance in the USA South.
