First-year Monica Neely, Cross Country
Monica Neely (Columbus, Ga.) finished off a standout first season in purple and black, leading the Scotties in all seven meets during the 2019 season. The first-year shaved nearly two minutes off her best 6K time by the end of the campaign, finishing 152nd at the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Regional Championships at 25:55. The finish was the best by a Scottie since Faridah Nalunkuuma came in 105th as a senior two years ago.
