Junior forward Garis Grant (Charleston, S.C.) has been named the Agnes Scott Scotties Athlete of the Month for the second consecutive time after averaging nearly a double-double during a busy month of December. The Scottie captain also turned in eye-popping block numbers by averaging four per contest which was highlighted by a nine-rejection effort at home against North Park on December 28.
Heading into the month of January, Grant is currently first in the USA South in blocks (2.9 per) and second in rebounding (10.8 per).
