Wolves Lose Nail Biter to Agnes Scott

The Wolves ended their home schedule tonight at Titans Arena with a loss to conference rival, Agnes Scott in a very close finish. Lead by Garis Grant's double-double with 18pts. and and 21 rebounds, the Scotties of Agnes Scott held the Wolves to only seven points in the first quarter and would go into half time with a six point lead. 

The Wolves came out flat after half time allowing the Scotties to boost their lead to 11 points going into the fourth quarter. The Wolves would bounce back with a great comeback attempt in the fourth to make the last quarter a nail biter. The Scotties would ultimately prevail with a final score of 54-47 for the Scotties' first win of the season. 

The Wolves were lead tonight by Freshman Natera Perkins who had 14 points and five steals on the night. Defensively, the Wolves ended the game with 25 rebounds and five steals lead by Aubry Maulden and Ta'Liyah Slocumb with 5 rebounds each. 

The Wolves will finish the season this weekend on the road as they take on Berea and Maryville on Friday and Saturday.
